Description
This photograph taken in Kapurpurawan in Ilocos features stark white limestone formations that contrast dramatically with the flowing, cobalt blue dress of former Binibining Pilipinas candidate and Ilocos native Sheena Dalo.
Kapurpurawan comes from the root word “”puraw,”” the Ilokano word for “”white””—a fitting name for the pristine cliffs that rise majestically, crafted over centuries by the sea and sky. The azure waters of the ocean, calm and reflective, stretch out to meet the horizon, where the line between sea and the impossibly blue sky blurs in a haze of cerulean hues.
The scene evokes a sense of timeless serenity, as if Sheena has stepped into a dreamscape, where the natural world’s raw, untamed beauty stands in perfect harmony with the serene elegance of human presence.
